    1. Intelligent mice

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I wake in the night and hear the mice squeaking. I make a hissing sound and see two of them escape under the bedroom door. In the dark I see a small figure huddled beside some wooden children’s blocks. It isn’t scared of me when I make more hissing sounds at it - staring at me, his body tensed up and low to the ground like a playful dog – and when I get out of bed and stamp on the floor, it runs closer to me and stops. It finally runs under the door after I push it back with the side of my foot, making sure not to hurt him, but I see more tiny little faces waiting for their chance to run back inside.
I pick up books, one by one, from the pile next to my bed and start blocking the space under the door. At the same time, however, the mice are undoing my work, pushing the books askew when I'm not looking after I’ve moved further along, continually returning to find gaps in my makeshift wall. One of the mice even drags away one of my favourite books, because I remember saying, “Nooo, not my Borges” and watch it take it down the stairs.

Woo! Been taking some B6, 5-HTP and Melatonin before bed, for the past couple of days, so my dreams have been coming back in full force.

      Dream One
      "Everybody Out of the Deadpool!"

I was disembodied, watching Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds version) being led through some industrial facility. It was being run by an evil syndicate and I believe it had an oil refinery to use as a front. The villains had taken Wade captive, and were going to perform all types of experiments on him - whether he liked it or not - to turn him into their mutant weapon: Deadpool. I could see a screen that was showing what mutant abilities they were going to be adding to his own, and I saw that it once referenced something about his 'motor-mouth', as if it was something that they were assessing. Wade was walking with this woman - who obviously didn't want to hear a thing he had to say - and he was just cracking all types of jokes. The woman was getting very visibly annoyed. It was rather hilarious. From the way he was acting, you wouldn't have been able to tell that he was being held there against his will.

Sooner or later, there was a battle going on inside this facility. I believe Wade's team had come to bust him out, and to take down the syndicate, but I'm not exactly sure. I do know that a plan was devised to destroy the facility by some sort of nuclear device. I remember panic, as people were trying to stop the explosion and/or escape the facility. At the very end, the initial device had been disarmed, but someone else had set a back-up plan into motion, that caused the oil running through the facility to be channeled up into one single tunnel, where it began to well up. I could see someone running through the hallways, trying to escape the facility, and the ground around them was shaking. Telephone poles near the exit were wobbling. These were ominous signs that there was a massive explosion building beneath the facility. Then, the oil burst out of a single [manhole?], spraying an enormous geyser of oil into the air. My view pulled out, showing the full hundreds of feet that the black fluid shot into the air, piercing a large layer of green clouds that hung over the city. Gravity soon began to take hold, once the geyser hit its apex. The green clouds turned out to be a thick layer of methane gas that was hanging over the city (exactly like the scene in The Mask where Stanley and Tina are overlooking the city from the park, and it shows all the green methane emissions in the air).

In what I believe was slow motion, I witnessed the villains watch this jet of black oil fly up into the air, blooming into an umbrella and falling back down toward the layer of methane that over the city. At that same moment, a fire was ignited in the facility, a trail of fire streaked up the oil geyser and toward the methane gas that the upward jet had broken through, and that the downward arc of falling oil was about to re-enter. I saw the look of impending doom on their faces. They knew what was about to happen. The fire - doing what it does - surged up the geyser, through the hole in the green gas, up to the apex of the oil fountain, and then began to rain back down toward the cloud of flammable methane. After a short moment of dramatic silence, the entire methane cloud combusted, creating an explosion, across the entire city, that would have rivaled any destructive blast that the team might have used to blow up the facility. The enormous mushroom cloud over the city was the last thing I remember of the dream.

      Dream Two
      "No R.I.P. for the Weary"

I was in my old house in Canterbury. GV was gone, and I was in our room, with her father asleep in his own room, across the house. It was nighttime outside, and I was getting ready for bed. I had some kind of figurine or something that I was moving from one spot to another, and I suddenly began to feel eyes on me. I looked toward the window, still holding the figurine. Through the curtains, inside, and the bushes which sat outside the window, I saw a face and two eyes staring back at me. It was JJ. She gave me a mischievous smile and moved away from the window, as if to try and undo the fact that I had caught her spying on me. A little excited by this, I decided to go to the front door and invite her in. (Even though I was still living with GV, in the dream, I was single, just as we were for the last few months of our living together, IRL.)

When I went to the living room, I went to open what I thought was the front door, and it turned out to be GV's dad's room door, which had switched sides of the house. I apologized to him and then went to the other side of the house, closer to where the front door should be, given this (new) layout. When I opened this door, it was the door to the carport, instead. I realized how strange this was. When I turned back to the living room, I realized that everything was backward. The house was set-up completely differently than it had been in waking life. It occurred to me that I was dreaming. What I didn't know was how long I'd been dreaming. I remembered that JJ was supposed to be coming in/over, and I'd wondered if I had fallen asleep before she arrived. Unsure about this, and quite anxious see where things were going to go with her, I tried to wake myself up, to make sure she wasn't really coming over.

I "woke up" on my bed - completely oblivious to the fact that I was still dreaming - and went to the door (still in my old house, not my present one). JJ was there, and I let her in, happy to see that I hadn't missed the opportunity. She hung out in the room for a while, and then we inevitably started to fool around. Just then, there was a knock at the door. I went back out to open it, and my ex MJ was standing there. I knew that MJ and JJ didn't really like each other, so I was trying to stall MJ, so that she wouldn't know exactly what was going on here. It wasn't very long after this awkward moment, that I involuntarily received the most perfect distraction...

      Zombies.

Out of nowhere, a small band of zombies made its way into the house. (I had been talking with KC about The Walking Dead, the tv show, last night at work.). We all scrambled to get out of the house, grabbing whatever make-shift weapons that we could. Passing by the kitchen, I remember turning back to grab the knife set from off of the counter. We made our way through the laundry room and into the carport, and I had to frantically stab at some of the undead that were trying to clamber over the fence to get us. While my arm was extended, one of the zombies reached its head up and opened wide, aiming to take a huge chunk out of my arm. I saw the teeth come down toward my arm, and I thought to myself "NOOOOOOOO!!!!" knowing what was in store for me. All of a sudden, as if because of that moment of panic, the zombie's mouth froze in place with its teeth just resting around my arm, having not bitten into it. It was literally just hanging there. Only taking a short moment to wonder 'what the hell?' I then got myself back in gear, and we began to move away from the house.

We didn't get very far before a black van (identical to the one GV used to drive IRL, actually) came screeching around the corner, directly toward us. We scrambled to dive out of the way, but the van ended up smashing into MJ and then crashing into the house. I ran back over to the accident and saw that MJ was in really bad shape, but just barely still alive. Her body looked pretty mangled, and her face was all bloodied and bruised. She needed medical attention and fast. I knelt over her, trying to tend to her and make sure she was still alive, and some bratty kid (a crowd had gathered after the accident) was teasing me by saying something like "Awww, look at G taking care of the wittle baby..." or something like that. I told the kid off - but really wanted to kick his ass - and went back to care for MJ. There is a bit of a gap here, where I can't remember exact details, but it turned out that the driver of the van was someone from the syndicate that was holding Wade Wilson captive, in the first dream.

JS, another neighborhood friend of mine, showed up, and we were able to take this guy down, after getting him out of the wreckage. He'd tipped us off - somehow - that there were more of them coming after me, because I had allegedly helped Wade escape, earlier (though I don't actually remember being in the previous dream. Just watching it). Another set of headlights beamed into the area, notifying us that someone else would be coming around the corner soon. I told JS that they would be coming for me, and to get MJ out of there. I knew that the zombies were still in the area, but I had to draw all attention away from my friends. Just as the next vehicle was coming around the bend, I took off and ran around to the other side of the house. Moving around the far side, to circle around the building and let the car pass by where I had once been, I looked to one side. There, leaning up against the wall, was Robocop. He was just...standing there. It looked like he was in a sleep-stasis mode, with his head down, hiding back behind some bushes as if he had been placed there. I thought to myself 'damn, I could really use his help right now', but had to keep moving, because I was still in the open, and knew that any vehicle passing by my house would see me, once they looked around the corner.

I rounded the back side of the house, and then came back around on the other side. From there, I could see JS helping MJ down the street, holding her up while walking beside her. I took one more look around the corner, to make sure the coast was clear, and went to meet them, knowing that the car had already passed where we'd once been. Just as I reached them, though, I was attacked from behind. A man who reminded me of Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) from the movie Demolition Man was all over me. We started fighting in the street, and this dude apparently knew what he was doing. He had counters for almost everything I threw at him, and I was beginning to think that I was going to lose this match. Suddenly, I got a hold of a pair of handcuffs - though I can't remember where I got them from. It took a bit more struggle, but I was able to get them fitted on his wrists. He wasn't done, though. He kept fighting me, tenaciously, and was boasting to me about how he could pick his cuffs. He said that once he got his hands free, he was going to kill me. We struggled some more - both of us now lying on the asphalt - and I had to hold his wrists apart to try to keep one hand from reaching the other cuff. Eventually, though, he overpowered me and snapped one of the cuffs off. Before he could act, I grabbed the fingers of one of his hands. I could see the shock grow in his eyes as I began to push backward on the fingers. He was silently pleading with me not to break them. In my heart, I really didn't want to break them. I knew it was going to be a sickening feeling, as I had never broken someone's bones before, IRL. This was a matter of life and death, though, and this guy had to be immobilized. With one final push, I snapped all four fingers backward, to where they literally folded back on his hand, severed at the knuckles and leaving only bloody stumps attached to the palm.

The man screamed in pain, but kept on fighting. Even with a broken hand, he ended up overpowering me and kneeling over me, pulling out some kind of weapon and making a gesture which telegraphed that he was about to introduce me to a world of hurt. Just in time, though, gunfire rang out, and the man stopped. He looked from me to JS, nearby, who was holding a machine gun (that I immediately just assumed he had taken from one of the villains). We then looked from the gun barrel to the spot behind my opponent, where the gun was aimed, just in time to see a zombie - which was just about to attack me and the guy I was fighting, fall to pieces, its body practically split in half by the short burst of gunfire. Spouts of blood squirted up from the split torso, which then fell to the ground. My attacker looked just as shocked as I was. He looked back at JS, who had just saved his life, and then down at me. Seemingly having a change of heart, he stood up and reluctantly backed off.

Then, another set of headlights. Another van came roaring around the turn, and we all scrambled away again, before it could run us over. I jumped to my feet, borrowing the gun from JS and running after the passing van, which rounded another corner and tried to make a U-Turn. Running up on the van, I let bullets spray into the driver's side window, killing the driver and throwing him out of the van. I then jumped inside and brought the van around to pick up the others. We hauled ass toward the front of the neighborhood, just as another van was passing us, presumably driving to where we'd just been. I knew that they would be turning back around shortly, once they realized we were no longer there. Gunning it toward the intersection at the front of the neighborhood, and looking back in the rear-view to see if the other van was behind us, I nearly froze when I looked back in front of us again and saw a fighter jet heading straight toward us, in the night sky. Before I even had a chance to react, a volley of missiles streaked out from the jet, flying directly over the roof of our van and blowing up the van that had been coming up behind us. The jet screamed through the air and flew over top of us, trailing the missile exhaust. I recognized that the help had come from Wade's team that had come to stop the evil syndicate, before (but still wasn't able to piece together that these were dreams).

I was momentarily relieved, but then I realized that we were driving one of those same vans, and that the jet would probably be coming around to make another pass and take us out, not knowing who was driving. I told everyone that we had to ditch the van as soon as possible, and I sped through the intersection to get as far away from the neighborhood as possible before stopping so we could bail out. I don't remember ever actually leaving the van though, before waking up.
    3. W.I.L.D success- Zombies, beach, 5+ false awakenings

by , 11-13-2011 at 07:38 PM (High Quality Head Movies)
Starts on a beach Inception style

So I attempted a W.I.L.D but when I woke up in rhe dream I was on the beach Inception style lolz so I got up and looked around and thought to myself how did I get here and then realized I was supposed to wake up in my room!* Huh.* Well I looked around and there was a big ship on the sand parked like it was a hotel, people were all around me playing on the beach or just chilling.* I thought this is a dream but why not mix it up?* I seem to ALWAYS attempt control why not go with the dream and explore while aware?

Now in this dream I falsely awoke maybe 8 times...

I go to the ship and walk inside and start to explore but I open a door that looks kinda old and rusted and I see a big sunken ship's cargo hold but it looks like the zombie course from call of duty black ops with the sunken ship in the snow.* I see people being chased by zombies down below us in the big ship and two other kids come up to me and say it looks like fun!* So we go and start to get some zombies to chase us and they do and we see the people that were being chased use a zipline that's out of reach to us and I said hey lets take a zipline!* I point and a zipline appears (see still lucid!) and we jump on it and slide down it and on the way accross we see maybe 10+ zombies.* We hurry to the wall and I said if we don't find any weapons soon we aren't gonna make it.* I run to a tool belt I see on the wall and grab it and say outloud there are weapons in here and what do we get?* 3 airsoft guns...* I grab one and say its better than nothing...* I point it at a zombies head and say bang and he dies LOL!!!* So we keep running and I see another tool belt and I grab an mp-40 that is real but has no ammo...
I seperate from the kids and I run to a door and it leads back to the lobby where I started and I close the door and decide to explore some more.* I go to the beach and same old same old.* I run to the shore and think to myself how much there is to see in my head today when my thoughts are broken by a giant ship being brought in sideways by a giant wave!* People all get up and run to the top of the hill on the beach to watch (but no screaming?) and I do the same.* I then laugh at how random that was and I go to the beach and start talking to this lady.* I said aren't dreams awesome?

I sat down and everything started disappearing and I was worried I was waking up!* I woke up in my bead FALSELY!!!* I thought about recording it but I thought eh Ill just go back to sleep I'm sure I'll remember it.* I get back to the dream the instant I close my eyes.* I wake up on the beach again in the exact same scenario I was when I falsely awakened before.* Some lady was looking at me and said oh good, you're alright!* We all thought you passed out I guess you were just sleeping! Its hilarious how that happened.

I go to the ship again and inside the lobby is a restaurant with a western style design to it.* I go inside and look around then the dream gets fuzzy and then I'm falsely awakened again, then I go back to the dream and I leave the restaurant and go back to the beach and then I get to the shore and I falsely awaken again.* I get mad while in bed and I go back to the dream again.

I wake up look around while sitting on the ground and there is nobody around.* I get up and there is a zombie behind me.* O_O!!!* I jump up and he was just looking at me the whole time!* I run to the boat and I find a pistol and its empty again!!!!* >:-(** I run up the hill and I wake up again...* This time I am getting my phone when it dawns on me, what if I am still dreaming?

I get up and I am!* I go outside, find out I am at my Grammy's house,* explore my street some more, and then I wake up several times falsely and finally I wake up for rizzle.* Interesting to go with the flow sometimes but next time I'll do the monthly task.
    4. First successful wild omfg i'm freakin' out!

by , 10-27-2011 at 08:31 PM (The Stories of my Dreaming Mind)
So I wake up after the non-lucid dream that I will post next, and write down that dream into my dream journal. I don't want to look at the time, I'm too lazy and excited over this non-lucid dream. Then after about 10 or 15 minutes of excited wake time of writing a dream down, using the washroom, getting extra blankets etc, I feel awake, but not too awake. I go back to bed. I'm like, well it's a coincidence to be waking up in the middle of the night and having this huge impulse to try WILDing again. I take that as a sign. I go back to bed where I WILD. I don't even feel SP, but the vibrations and sounds etc I do feel. I don't see any hypnagogic hallucinations however.

      ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then after about 5 minutes, I think I might be in a dream because the vibrations stopped. So I will myself to feel them again just to make sure, and slowly there came on a very strong vibration feeling like normal, and it quickly went away. I said, okay maybe this is a dream now I calmly do a nose RC and it works! I FUCKING FREAK OUT. I quickly sit up in my bed super excited and flipping out. I observe my room which looks exactly like my real life room. I do another reality check. The fact that I can breathe through my fingers is really cool. I don't see anything in my room though, it's very dark. I remember to rub my palms together, it doesn't really do anything to enhance the dreamscape but it feels so damn real!!! Then I notice how my room is still really dark, there should be something lighting it up. The moment that thought comes into mind, I notice some sunlight in the middle of my room, which is actually looking sort of like a mirror or a view of really nice tall townhouses that look similar to this lazy concept art I drew of it:

      Gays-neighbourhood-concept-first-wildpersective-fix.jpg

I'm like, those are really nice houses. Hey, I could make those houses be my neighbourhood now! So I do. I look outside my window, it's not super vivid this part, but I see this new neighbourhood.

Seamlessly, the dream takes me to the back seat of a car driven by my dad, with mom sitting next to him. I am sitting in the middle seat of the back seat. Hannah is sitting right next to me on the left. I say hi. She says hi! I tell her about my successful WILD and how this is all a dream and how sooo excited I am about having my first LD in 2 years, let alone a successful WILD done in 5 minutes after less than a week of practice! I keep ranting about this on and on. She is very interested and is as excited about this as I am. She laughs so much. I do weird sounds with my mouth because I'm having fun freaking out, and she laughs about that forever. Haven't seen her laugh so much before. Then I notice I'm getting a little caught up in the dream reality. I don't notice that I'm letting the dream control the dream, but I'm just ecstatic to be conscious in this dream and that everything is just as real as in real life! I hear the car vrooming, I see the trees passing by outside and everything! My parents aren't talking though. Nobody is talking unless I talk something to them. It's like everyone is much more obviously now, just projections that are much lower than me because I'm the one conscious in my own dream.

Anyway, I have the intent of scanning my surroundings more. I want to observe the trees go by through the window. Seamlessly, and without even being able to notice, Hannah and I switched seats. She watches me intently. Everyone who isn't driving etc is watching me intently, like they find my presence very interesting, or like since I like positive attention in real life, the dream works it out perfectly for me. I watch the trees outside, noticing every detail, every leaf, branch, etc. The trees are too tall and too dense to see the sky. I'm done observing, time to continue to chat excitedly with Hannah. We talk about normal things too, but she is completely find with talking about anything at all. So I talk about this dream again. I am amazed that the feeling of the car is the exact same as in real life. Then I continue to watch things go by outside. I am still aware that this is a dream, but due to my more passive nature, I'm unintentionally letting the dream take me where it wants for now. I see the shape of an elephant in a black bag atop some large machine on a farm. "Hey look, there's elephants on this farm." Hannah looks and reacts the same way I am to it, fascinated, yet bored.

The car stops at a bulk barn looking place that I've seen in another non-lucid dream before. It's my future school, Max the Mutt Animation School in dream form, yet it's not. We walk in. Seamlessly, Hannah and I are now in that high school that Blaine from Glee went to. IT'S SO COOL yet neither of us realize that this school looks like Glee. We explore the area, meet new people, I make a new friend. There's a cafeteria at this school which is also a room where they make awesome motivational speeches and proud speeches about their school. Everyone is wearing a Warblers uniform, or something with the same colour themes. We continue to explore, and I get caught up in the dream.

Then I am at the other version of this school, the version that does not look like glee, but like how I picture an arts college in the dream I guess. I am with my parents this time, and Hannah is off somewhere. I remember, "Oh that's right this is a dream. I can't forget that!" (those are thoughts/out loud thinking). My parents nod their heads. Everyone is quiet and watching me intently, and talkative only if I subconsciously want them to be. Then I think "I haven't fiddled with my surroundings yet, this would be a good time to do that." My parents agree. Everyone agrees. Whatever I say goes.
So the room looks like a plain art room first seeing it without observing it. Then I start to observe my surroundings, and I'm surprised that it's fancier than I thought it was before observing. I close my eyes, think of changing the wall to another colour, open my eyes, there it is. I look at the objects, close my eyes, think of changing them to this, open my eyes, they become this. I change the white marble floor to beige marble, and then a red carpet because I find that a very fancy carpet colour. I change the room to a very fancy art room. I move to the next room.

I want to change the room, but the dream takes me to another place, which is the cafeteria place of the Glee warblers school again. Mom and Dad are there.. somewhere. Hannah is near me, watching me intently once again. There is a band performing on stage. Everyone is watching me intently.

I suddenly feel strange. First I slightly forget that it's a dream again, and I am called to perform a song or something at the microphone, and I feel a little heavy, and I collapse. Everyone, my parents, Hannah, are surrounding me trying to get me to wake up. In that state, I tell myself, well this is just a dream. But what if the extreme vividness and realisticness of the dream causes me to get stuck in the dream because my mind can't distinguish if I'm awake or not? I push those worries aside. I know that if I wanted to wake up, I would because I could. For now I still want to enjoy this dream, and I am amazed at how long this dream has lasted already. It felt like hours has gone by.

Then some other stuff happens that I can't exactly grasp.
Then I wake up in my bed again. I think, holy crap what an awesome dream OMFG I WILDed!!! And then my mom comes into my room, and puts up a poster of the bulk barn-looking max the mutt animation school. It's a halloweeny poster. She puts it up right across my bed so I can see it. She asks me if this is okay, I say yes. Then I realize, but wait, didn't I just wake up? I do an RC. Holy crap I'm still dreaming!!! OMFG what a looong dream and super realistic omgosh okay.

I rub my palms together once again, and observe my room. The sun is rising. There is a fat girl sitting next to my bed. I think, what is she doing here? Then I think, oh maybe I could use her for sex in this dream. Then I think, then again, other stuff is more fun to do in a dream.

Then I wake up again. I do an RC. I'm still dreaming. Holy crap! I think to myself. Then I try to think of a place I could go to. I remember, oh that's right, I'm obsessed with Tron! Let's go there! I imagine the scene where Sam enters the grid. I don't place it in my surroundings though, I imagine it, and nothing happens. The imagination is as vivid/not vivid as in real life, so this will have to go into my theory again. I remember that the way it worked before was that I played with my surroundings to get there. I was about to, and then...

      ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wake up. HOLY MOTHER FUCKING SHIT I think to myself, and then go on the computer to write my dream.

    5. (24/10/11) - Israel and a FA

      by , 10-24-2011 at 03:15 PM (LiveInTheDream's DJ v2.5)
Wow, I really need to go to bed less distracted if this MILD thing is ever going to work for me. My mind was working on too many things to stay concentrated on the visualization or mantra, so my dreams ended up being a direct manifestation of what I had been thinking over...and not about the mantra

      1) I was in Israel for a friend's wedding. Never actually saw the ceremony; I was dropped into the dream right after it ended. As I was walking away, somehow I ended up talking to a Jewish girl and we hit it off pretty well. After we'd talked a little while I told her I had to go, and then turned and woke up...

Dream Signs: being somewhere without remembering getting there, being around people (particularly groups of people)

      2) ...into a false awakening. I got up and was just about to walk out the door when I saw a big spider laying curled up on the ground. "Oh, I didn't think I'd actually killed that one last night. Guess it didn't get away after all." I was just walking past it when suddenly the spider sprung back into life and shot up into the air, simultaneously growing several times its original size. I tried to escape it, but it came down on my head and startled me awake, for real this time.

Dream Signs: FA (should have made me RC...but I didn't ), highly unusual events

      3) When I fell back asleep, I was back in Israel picking up roughly where the last dream had left off. I had only one more day before leaving from my visit to see the wedding, so I was going around with a couple members of my family who were there with me and we just enjoyed ourselves (and I kept looking for a restroom in the dream because IRL I had to pee ). Somehow I ran across that same girl and her family, and we got to talking again briefly. Before I knew it, we were talking on the phone as I was heading to the airport to leave. It seemed like things might actually work out with this girl, so of course I didn't want to leave, but I was literally getting dragged away by my family, so I just had to say goodbye and wake up.

Dream Signs: being somewhere without remembering getting there, romance

I had a super long Lucid dream again last night. So that's good. I seem to be picking up again on the lucid dreaming. It was anothe WBTB. And is one of the rarer times where I let the dream sort of take me along.

      Lucid Dream:

The first thing I remember in the dream was being in a large body of water. I was swimming, I think. I saw two boats in front of me. I went over their wakes and enjoyed the bouncing motion. I then decided to surprise the drivers of the boats by speeding up and catchin up with them. So I did and came up right between them when they were quite close. I remember one driver (a nice looking man) looking at me in amazement. I smiled back. I decided to really surprise them by suddenly taking off into the sky.

At some point here I was lucid, although I don't remember the exact moment.

It took me a couple of tries, but soon I was flying up and above the boats and up into the sky. We were close to shore at this point and I could see a resort right there on the beach. I knew the boat drivers were going to the resort. I wanted them to find me again. So I decided to hang out there and wait for them.

There were many patios and terraces. I wandered around. I passed several pools and saw some hot tubs. I wanted to get in a hot tub. I was sure that the warm water would keep me lucid, and I didn't want to lose lucidity until after I found the drivers. Each of the hot tubs I came to had people in them. Some hot tubs were small and had a couple in them. But there were at least two big hot tubs--but these were full of kids or teenagers. I finally decided to just squeeze in a hot tub. After all, these weren't real people. But each time I came to one with a couple, it just felt weird to get in. I decided that I would get into one of the big ones. I came to an upper level where I remembered there being the biggest hot tub. But it was just crowded with boys about 12-14 years old.

Suddenly I remembered a thread I had just read that day on Dreamviews about weather, and how a lot of people have no interesting weather in dreams. I looked up toward the sky (there was a shade covering over the pools, but I could see out past it toward the ocean). I could see many grey clouds. I decided to help it rain. I asked the boys by me in the hot tub if they would like it to rain. Several said, "Sure". So I concentrated on the grey clouds and made them swirl bigger and blacker. Then I focused on making rain come down. I finally saw something come out from the clouds. It wasn't rain, though. They were flowers. A whole bunch of small black flowers. Could there be anything cooler than making it rain black flowers??

I then decided that I would just get in a pool. Maybe the cold water would be better for lucidity. On the way down to a lower level, I kept running my hand along the iron rail posts. I felt that the bump bump bump against the side of my hand would be good for that physical sensory that keeps me in a dream.

I came to the pool and started taking my clothes off. I knew I had my blue swim suit on under. I seemed to have on several layers of clothing and it was taking longer than I wanted to get undressed. Then Jeff was there and he started talking to me. I told him how I was trying to stay lucid. Part of me wondered if I was talking to him in real life and that he would think it was cool that was was actually lucid dreaming.

Then I got in the pool. The water was neither hot or cold. I swam to one end. I saw a man and a little boy. The boy had sand all over his hair. He was black and the sand was covering his short hair completely. When he leaned over I saw that it ran into his face. I told him to lean over and hold still, that I would help him brush it out. I brushed and brushed, and so much sand came out...and bigger rocks too. Finally I felt that I had gotten most of it out, and the boy went back to playing with his bucket and shovel.

I started walking around the pool area again. I saw a glass water container with ice and lemons. I got a plastic cup and turned the little spigot and filled my glass. I took a drink. I was disappointed that the ice water didn't taste cold. I turned around and saw two nice looking guys standing right by me. One was tall and had curly blond hair. The other was a little shorter and had brow hair. I took my cup of ice water and splashed it right up at the tall guy's face. He looked surprised. I said,"I've always wanted to do that." I laughed. This was a dream, but I still wasn't sure how the guy would react. He just wiped the water of his face and kept looking at me with a half smile, but confused look.

The brown haired guy then got a glass of water. I told him, "Go ahead." I faced him expecting him to splash water on my face. Instead he splashed it on his own face. I laughed again. Then I just grabbed the guy and started kissing him serious and deep. We were suddenly very passionate. We moved as we kissed until we were in another room. I pulled away for a sec and asked, "Is this okay with you?" I didn't want him to have a girlfriend right here that would see us. He said, "This isn't a problem. I'm willing to go all the way." I was suddenly a little unsure. All I really wanted to do was kiss. More than that seemed wrong.

Then I seemed to wake up. I thought, "Oh man, another really long lucid dream for me to try to remember. I started to back track the dream in my mind. Then I knew I had to start writing it down immediately. I didn't want to forget, and I somehow knew that I only had a matter of time before this dream slipped away. So I grabbed the closest thing to write on which was a piece of cardboard. I started writing it down. But part of me knew that this was a waste of time since this wasn't real. I knew I needed to wake up for real.

But I don't think I woke up at this time. I went on to another dream involving my younger sister...but now I can't read my notes...and I no longer remember.
    7. First Intentional Lucid Dream/Simulated OOBE?

      by , 10-18-2011 at 03:38 PM
So last night, after watching copious amounts of the anime "Bleach" and doing some work for a cilent, I decided to unwind with a hot shower. I really planned out things carefully. A scented candle, a stool to sit and relax on after doing the mundane task of cleaning up >_>.

I was really at a happy place by the time I decided I'd pruned up enough. I told myself "today is the day for a Lucid Dream or OOBE" if ever there was one because I seldom feel this relaxed. Went to my bedroom, got dressed and curled up in bed. I started to remind myself that I have to wake up around 4am for this to work right and that the next scenes I would encounter would be dreams.

I tried to visualize a door into Hogwarts (a frequent dream sign of mine) and pull on it while all the hypnagogic imagery began, but I was really too tired and I drifted off to la la land. I can't recall that dream session.

The next thing I remember was waking up at 4:30am. I did reality checks before getting out of bed, and then got up to visit the washroom. I returned and decided I'd go onto Facebook with my phone and reply to my e-mail. I told a friend that I programmed my mind to wake up at a specific time and it didn't turn out too shabby. That alone gave me some courage that I was doing things right and my state of mind was good for this work. I told him I was going to attempt gaining lucidity and then shut off the phone and lay on my back...

I started doing the WILD induction and I started to feel some symptoms of paralysis but nothing too pronounced. I got some Hypnagogic Imagery which I tried to "step into" but they kept dissolving. I kept in a very positive frame of mind reminding myself that even if this didn't work, I'd get to enjoy some more pleasurable hours of sleep. So, after approx. 10 minutes, I turned over on my side. I tried repeating the steps again on my side but I felt too uncentered. I then turn over again now with my face to the pillow and tried it this time...

IMMEDIATE change! Everything felt much stronger and for the first time I experienced those ridiculously violent vibrations. I felt like someone took a jackhammer to my bed and I was surprised I didn't spaz out because I was very much concious at this point, but I kept still and rode it out.

The next thing I knew, my perspective was flipped. I felt like I was on my back clutching the sheets of the bed with my hands frantically. I calmed down and imagined floating. I heard a female voice almost like a flight attendant telling me to concentrate on the next scene. The next scene was very random... A display in a pharmacy window! I was focusing on some product in a glass bottle with blue and white label. It kept coming in and out of focus, but eventually I got it in focus. Then, I found myself zooming in on the world in a very "Google Maps" fashion and found myself in my house.

It seemed very dark and murky. I am in fact near-sighted, so I assumed at first that I'd woken up and and gone into the kitchen. I headed for a cupboard to mix myself some milk (a thought I had toyed with before bed, but decided it was best I go to bed with my stomach empty). At that point I realized something was wrong. This could not be reality because we're re-modelling the kitchen and those cupboards were destroyed. I immediately got into somewhat of a panic. Was I lucid? Was I outside of my body? For some reason or the other I headed into the breakfast room (which has an exit there) and came across the figure of Urahara Kisuke (an anime character from the show I've been polluting my mind with recently). He seemed to emanate a calm to me and I settled down. I remember distinctly that he was wearing his black cloak (

In this newly calm state of mind, I decided to visit my bedroom to make a reality check of this again. Things were so murky and strange, but I immediately slipped from the kitchen to my bedroom with that thought. I found myself in my bedroom standing by the doorway (The door in reality was closed). I could barely see in the room, so I decided to flip the switch. That didn't work. So I put out a command: "Give me clarity.", and the room began to glow with a very moonlit atmosphere. I saw my body there laying on the bed as I'd been, and saw my mother, wrapped in a white garment come into the room and lay down next to me saying something I could not make out.

At that point I woke up and quickly checked to see whether I was awake. Hand check...clear. Nose check...clear. I flipped on my back and looked around for my mother. She wasn't there and the door was still closed. I was in SHEER euphoria at the experience now. Don't think I've been that excited in years. I updated my friend via Facebook on what I'd achieved and put the details of the dream/OOBE so I would have a reference with which to write this dream diary entry.

I went back to sleep with a smile on my face. It was 6am.
    8. My uncle naked in a pool. (and FA)

      by , 10-17-2011 at 07:46 PM
Non-Lucid throughout the entirety of the dream.

Dream starts with me having a guitar jam with Guthrie Govan, one of my favourite guitarists. My parents then drive up to the street in which we're playing and tell me that I need to get in the car because we're going to a friend's house for a pool party. It is a long drive so I fall asleep in the car on the way there.

I wake up at my friend's house, get out of the car and head into the garden, where both the pool and all of the people are.
Everyone is asleep. The sunbeds are at the bottom of the pool, and people are sleeping normally there. The pool has overflowed to an extent that the whole surrounding area is a metre underwater, yet everyone can still breathe. I carefully look around, before wading around the flooded edges , where around ten of my friends are all sleeping underwater. I glance into the clear depths of the pool to see my uncle. He is swimming breaststroke, completely naked. He keeps swimming in circles, never looking up.

At this point, I wake up in my own bed. I look around my room, to see that it is fairly well-lit. There is an oscillating white fan suspended from the ceiling, towards the back of my room. My cupboard is wide open, and tens of small mechanical aeroplanes are peeking out from the shelves within. They are made of silvery metal and are of varying shape. Some of them are even on top of the cupboard. When the fan turns towards them, it blows air past their propellers, making them rotate rapidly. It looks as if they are flying. When the fan moves away, the propellers stop. Suddenly two of the planes fly towards me - slowly, not aggressively. I catch them, and try to see if I can make them fly too, so I throw them back towards the cupboard and the rest of the planes. They both crash gently on the floor, and then I wake up for real.

Very strange and vivid dream - I was eased into this dream with the help of binaural beats (I was testing them out to see if they worked for me, which they seemed to). It says a lot about my awareness that I didn't even realise it was a dream XD.

Comments are welcome - I am new to this so if you have advice please share it with me

      "Return of the Living Dead"

Another zombie apocalypse dream. (They seem to be a recurring theme, recently.) I don't really remember much of this one, though. I had some family members with me, and a dog. (I've also been having a few pet dogs in my dreams lately. I've had the idea of getting a dog on my mind, a lot, so it seems to be seeping into my dreams.) There was a lot of random running and fighting, in this dream. The zombies were much faster in this dream, than they were in my recent, previous ones.

At one point, I remember being holed up in someone's house. The homeowner - a man, I believe - was sitting on the couch, which was about half the distance between the front door and myself. Suddenly, the door burst open, and a zombie came charging into the room, holding a chainsaw. He lunged toward the homeowner, and I turned to dash into the kitchen, immediately reaching for the knife set. I didn't actually see whether or not the homeowner got killed, because I was busy searching for a chef's/butcher's knife. There was none to be found, though - just a bunch of small knives and shears, that looked like they would make horrible weapons against the undead.

There was a transition, here, and I was in the back seat of a car. There was a man sitting next to me, and one of my family members on the other side of him. We'd eventually come to find out that the man had been bitten, and he was beginning to turn, while in the car with us. I kept screaming to my cousin N, who was driving, to pull over, because the man was transforming quickly. She just kept taking her sweet time, though, as if this wasn't a dire situation. While she leisurely pulled her way over to the side, I began grabbing the guy and pulling him over top of me, in order to throw him out of the vehicle while it was still rolling.

      Dream Fragment Two (FA)
I 'woke up' in my bed, and was aware of the dog from my previous dream, lying on my floor. I wasn't exactly looking at it, but instead had my head down upon my bed, so where the dog would have been lying was actually below my field of view. I just kind of knew the dog was there. This struck me as weird, though, as I slowly began to realize that I didn't have a dog.

(What happened next was really strange, because I can't exactly tell if I was getting hypnopompic imagery, of if was actually waking up, and catching some residual dream imagery. As I began to sit up, I was actually awake, but the line between what I was seeing being either a dream or waking life completely blurred.)

Realizing this, I slowly began to lift my head. There was something there, but it couldn't have been a dog, because I didn't have one. I saw the top of a hairy figure begin to come into view, my eyes adjusting to my wakeful state. For a moment, I thought it might actually be a dog, but then I knew that didn't make sense. Moving my head a little bit higher, I saw what looked like my daughter's head, and then a little more of her body, beneath it. This also struck me as weird, because I knew that my door was locked. It was almost unmistakably her, though, even though I could only see the most vague impression of her. She seemed to be lying on my floor, reading something out of a book. I could almost make out all of the details of her figure, but then, just like that...her image was completely gone - replaced by a few articles of clothing that were actually on my floor.

(I was now undeniably awake, with my head already lifted from my pillow, and all of the lingering images had completely faded away. I did quite a few reality checks, but I was definitely awake, and had been for the majority of this strange position. Even looking back on it, when I first awoke, I couldn't really determine when I actually stopped dreaming.)

      Lucid Dream

(Another short but sweet entry about a lucid dream. I think I may have become lucid due to a false awakening but I am not sure. The past month or two, I have noticed that I become nearly automatically lucid when I experiencing a false awakening.)

Things were a tiny bit blurry at first. I was a bit hesitant but told myself I was dreaming so I did a reality check (poke finger through palm of hand) and it did not work I don't think but I KNEW I was dreaming. Things were a bit blurry so I rubbed my hands together and told myself I was dreaming and I could see my vision slowly become clear and a bit vivid. It was one of the first times I honestly noticed the difference. I got out of bed and walked into the living room where there was a random dog curled up on the floor. I looked at him/her and thought that if I snapped my fingers, they would be gone because I didn't want them there and wanted to see what would happen. I snapped my fingers and the dogs back end disappeared but it's head and maybe tail (which was attached to its head) was still there. I carried on, told myself I was dreaming and rubbed my hands which helped AGAIN. I finally got to the porch where my Mom was sitting in the car. She tried telling me to wake up. I didn't want to and was about to leave whens he just kind of demanded "WAKE UP!" and a few moments later, I lost my lucid.
    11. 38th shared Dreaming attempt - Floating head

by , 10-01-2011 at 06:32 PM (International Oneironaut Shared Dreaming Journal)
      Hotel California...

I get a false awakening, I'm so tired I start to fall asleep standing up - I then think that this is a bit strange and do an RC,my usual method I can't do because it is too dark to see anything so I try holding my nose - but find I CAN'T breath, although I decide that this is really not a true way of doing an RC (for me) because it has failed many times in the past, but then I sorta just know that it's a dream and walk out of the bedroom. In the hallway it is still very dark (the dreams are only just beginning to form) so I shout 'luminos' to try and brighten the place up - all I get is a sputter of light and then darkness. So I walk downstairs and out of the front door into...

What looks like a hotel (a mostly dark brown wooden interior), I know I need to get to Chichen Itza but forget what the best method to do so would be. I find the skeleton key in my pocket (which I found last week in my dream) and walk around trying to find a closed door to open (with the skeleton key) and use as a portal to get to Chichen Itza - I'm walking around what looks like the outside of the hotel - I expect to see a door - and do, lots of them - but all of them have windows in them so that I can see what's on the other side - and if I can see what's on the other side I can't get it to work like a portal (damn dream - I ve done this to myself before - or is it me, I don't know) SO then I decide to get out of the hotel and hotel grounds and fly to Chichen Itza. So I walk through the hotel, trying to search for the entrance, I walk past a woman behind a desk (I think she is wearing blue and is the receptionist) and walk into a revolving door - but the compatment to go into is very small and tight and just goes round and round and round and doesn't let you go out - DAMN! Then I wake

(so the hotel wasn't in California but much like THE hotel California from the song!)

Build it and they will come

I'm falling asleep but very aware, this turns into a DIELD. I can see a whole mountain range scenary, I'm thinking about Chichen Itza and how I need to see that, and then decide to CHANGE it into Chichen Itza, I see my hand - a giant ghost like hand hovering over the scenery - I find that I am able to move it - shaping and forming the scenery. So first of all I decide to try and make the central mountain range into a pyramid shape - but find this much more tricky than I first thought, then the dream starts to take control and I decide on using a pyramid shape from zbrush computer program as a good basis, and then it fades and changes or I wake.

      Wake up!
I'm aware that I'm dreaming (3rd time in the night - woot!) and am with my wife - I try to tell her that she is too, I pull and extreme face, first of all I pull my cheeks far apart with my fingers, and then I pull my jaw back, breaking it and pulling it into my chest - all so that she would remember the dream when she woke. The weird thing is that as I'm pulling these faces I see myself in the third person - behind my head - so I have no idea what these faces look like (though I was trying to go for that part in the film Beetlejuice when the two main characters pull there faces into ghoulish shapes)
I then decide that I need to get to Chichen Itza - so I fly up into the sky. The scenery is amazing, I am so high and travelling so fast, I can see so much countryside and forest beneath me, hills and rivers and trees- it looks so beautiful - but before I get anywhere I wake. ARGH!!
    12. Classical Music

by , 10-01-2011 at 11:14 AM (Visions in the Dark)
I am staying at a friends house for the weekend, taking care of her dogs while she is away. The neighbourhood I live in is very rough so when I heard classical music and not rap, rock or heavy metal I was confused in the dream to where I actually was.

I was dreaming that I was at home in bed and it was still so early in the morning that it was still dark out. I could hear this soothing classical music and it was waking me up in the dream. I remember thinking "Who is playing that kind of music this early in the morning in this neighbourhood?"

Then I woke up for real, realized where I was (in the guest room at my friend's house and not at home) and heard the classical music that had invaded my dream coming from her alarm clock in the next room.

      Dream Fragment One
All I remember was that I was in a house that I thought was my own. I walked outside, and it was night time. Looking to one side, I noticed that the outside of the house was definitely not my house. For one brief moment, I realized that I had no idea where I was, and that this had to be a dream. Unfortunately, I woke up immediately after this realization.

      Dream Fragment Two
I was driving around, downtown somewhere, with MJ. We were just hanging out for a while, but I don't really remember too much that went on.

      Dream Three
"Friends 'til the End...and Then Some."

This was a really strange dream, and I'm not sure if I can remember the exact details, because it was kind of confusing. I was not actually a participant in this dream. I just seemed to be watching it. Apparently, there were two middle-aged women, who were extremely close friends. One of them - a brunette - really reminded of Rosanne Arnold. The other woman - blonde - was being abused by some deadbeat dude, and ended up getting critically injured by him. (I don't believe she died, though.) Later, her friend had done something to the man, in order to get revenge. I can't remember what it was, but she definitely put him in his place. She might have killed him. I'm not sure.

However, the twist came when the brunette woman was sitting in her home one night, and she picked up the phone to call her friend. My disembodied perspective came in on the conversation, as she was sitting on her bed and explaining to her friend about how she avenged her friend and 'got the bastard' that critically injured her. Suddenly, I could hear her friend on the phone. Her voice was filled with sorry, and it seemed so much more like she was talking to herself, rather than talking to the friend who was telling her about how she's gotten the man back for what he'd done. I could hear the blonde's muffled voice through the phone, sobbing to herself about how much she misses her friend (the brunette), how she wishes she was still alive, and how she hated the man that killed her beloved friend.

The brunette was visibly shocked by this. She called into the phone "hello?? hello??!", trying to get clarification, but it seemed that her blonde friend couldn't hear her. It was if the phone call was not actually happening, and she was just somehow listening to her blonde friend talking to herself. Then, the brunette began to piece together what was going on, and my perspective followed her recollection as if it were a movie flashback. It showed that the brunette was actually the one who was attacked by the man in question. I saw a quick flash of her getting struck down by him, and then another flash of a funeral service. The brunette woman was in an open casket, and her blonde friend was standing nearby. My perspective then switched back to the brunette, in her room, still clutching the phone. The realization came to her (and me, of course), that she was the one who had been killed, and that everything that had happened after her death (killing the man, talking on the phone to her friend) was all just fabrications of the afterlife that came with her apparent inability to accept the fact that she had died. My recollection of the dream faded as the woman was just sitting on the bed with the look of complete shock on her face, trying to make sense of just what the hell happened to her.

      Dream Fragment Four
I was laying on a couch. On the couch with me was the brunette from the previous dream. The blonde was sitting on a nearby loveseat. Having no idea that I was still dreaming, I was explaining the previous dream to the two of them, as if they were my waking world friends. They listened intently, while I recounted all the details.

      Dream Five
      "The Undead of Winter"

(Another crazy one, and I have the feeling I'm missing a lot that went on, before my initial recollection of the dream begins.)

I was in an enormous mansion, along with some friends. The first thing I remember is that we had done something we weren't supposed to do, and ended up unleashing a horde of zombies from deep within the mansion. Once they were unleashed, they just began streaming out of every door and hallway, in absolutely insane numbers. We all ran for our lives, trying not to get lost in the building. I remember the final stretch of hallway, leading toward the exit, and ducking and dodging all of the flailing, undead arms that were reaching out for us as we passed.

When we finally made it outside, we found ourselves in a snow-white clearing. It looked like this mansion was secluded out in the Alps, or something, with the tundra-like setting all around us. The zombies continued to flood out of the mansion by the thousands, and we had something of a stand-off, out here, because it seemed like all directions were blocked by impassable landscape. I remember having some sort of contraption in my pocket that helped point me out to where any potential weapons were. However, with the zombies beginning to box us in, there was no way that I could get to any of them. They eventually closed in on us, and I remember dying at least once.

Before I knew it, I was back inside the mansion. We had just accidentally set the zombies free (again), and they were filling the mansion again, while we made our second escape. With some awareness of what had happened, the first time, I pulled out my 'weapon-finder' much earlier, on this second run. As soon as I exited the mansion, I took a sharp right and dashed toward a crowbar that the gadget had directed me to. I picked it up and began bludgeoning the creatures back, as best I could. There were far too many of them, though, and they just kept on coming. We continued to be pushed back to the rough terrain, as we had before, but we somehow figured out that these zombies only advanced on us when we were looking at them, and whenever we would turn our eyes from them, they would either freeze up, or wander about aimlessly. (I also remember something about music being involved, and how music being played also caught them to wonder around at random, instead of toward us. It all felt like a zombie-apocalypse game I tried out the other day on the PC, where the zombies wouldn't come close to you, unless you were moving around and drawing attention to yourself, but a little different. Can't remember the name of the game, though.)

Using this knowledge of how to stun them to our advantage, the last thing I remember is our group working together to stun them and toss grenades into the fray, when there were enough of them in a single spot to maximize damage to the horde. However, we knew that we just did not have enough resources to take them out, and they continued to stream out of the mansion in numbers that didn't seem to show any signs of dwindling.

All I remember is having sex with someone I know online. I can't remember who it was, though. I also had a false awakening, where I was about to jot down notes on the dream, but saw that I had a message from this girl in my inbox. In the note, she thanked me for an amazing night, and I had to sit there for a moment and wonder whether or not I actually saw this girl the night before.

I don't remember what happened in the 'beginning' of this dream, but I was in some sort of 'camp' area or something, and I saw a large group of my friends walking passed me. Apparently, some attack on our camp had happened, earlier on, and I was already injured. I had to limp my way to catch up to the others, and the pain in my ankle was excruciating. Having heard about the oncoming retaliation, though, I was eager to help them out. Holding a pair of nunchaku, I hobbled along and caught up with them. I can't remember who all was there, but I remember one of them telling me that I should stay behind, because I was hurt and probably would be more of a liability than asset. I refuted this, as much I could, and continued on with them, though the pain in my ankle was just growing more and more unbearable, with each labored step.

Finally, we came to a large ditch. I just kind of stared at it, reasonably intimidated. My friends jumped down into the muddy crevice and made their away across the ankle-high mess of wet dirt and grass. Me? I slowly attempted to climb down the side of the embankment, favoring the ankle which repeatedly sent shocks of pain screaming up my leg, with each descending step. When I got to the bottom, I looked across the low area, and the incline on the other side, which the others were already beginning to climb. It was then that I - completely disheartened - decided to concede. I knew I was just going to slow them down, assuming I was even able to make it across the muddy ditch without further injuring what was certainly a sprained ankle. Defeated, I turned around and painfully began to climb my way back up the embankment, and head back to camp. I didn't get very far before waking up.

(I actually woke up with a sprained ankle! From the way I had gone to sleep, I believe that my foot must have gotten wedged between my wall and mattress, and must have just gotten twisted during my nocturnal movements. The pain most likely worked its way into the dream. Definitely wouldn't be the first time it's happened, but it's been the most painful. Had to wrap it up for the following two days, afterward, but it's healed up now.)

      Dream 1-A
      "Almost Reached the Academy Again...Almost"

I was at some fancy dinner party, in a large, extremely luxurious hotel or something. The first thing I actually remember is walking through a large lobby area, and realizing that I was dreaming. I was walking through this dimly lit room, behind 2 or 3 guys. I believe they were friends of mine, but I can't really remember. However, I do recall expressing to them that I was dreaming, and requesting for them to remind me later, if I forget. (I figured it was worth a shot.) That was the last time I saw them in the dream, though, I believe.

Walking up a flight of stairs, I took notice of all of the DC's milling about. Everyone was dressed up nicely, but I can't remember what I was wearing, myself. I passed by this one, Latin-looking girl in a killer gray dress, and we exchanged a quick glance. Moving on, I passed a table full of women who were having a conversation with each other, and I reached out to the nearest one, playfully grabbing her ass. She looked back as I walked on, and gave me a smile. When I turned away from her, to look where I was going, there was another beautiful girl standing in the doorway of a dark room, in front of me. She was petite and blonde, and also dressed very nicely. I'd remembered my intention to search for the Dream World Academy, and I wasn't really trying to get caught up in dream sex, so I simply asked the girl if she would show me to the nearest portal that could take me to the Academy. She agreed, and brought me into the darkened hotel room. I followed her into the bathroom, and she pulled back the shower curtain, motioning for me to step inside. A little confused, I stepped into the shower, expecting to be somehow teleported to the Academy. Instead, though, the girl stepped in behind me. Before I knew it, we were making out in the shower with the water off, and our clothes still on.

Dream 1-B (Dream Chain / False Awakening)
I 'woke up' in a dark room. For a moment, I though I was back at home but, after looking around a bit, I noticed that the room was unfamiliar to me. I could see what looked like an old dresser and TV in the darkness, and a curtain-less window sat nearby. Trying to remember how I might have gotten into this room, I recalled that I had been dreaming, and just woke up here. I recognized this to be a false awakening, got up and walked to the window. It was night out, and I seemed to still be in the hotel, judging by the look of things, outside. The thought came back to me, that I had wanted to find the Academy, so I decided to do some searching on my own. Placing my palms to the glass, I pushed forward and phased through it, stepping out onto the high ledge. From there, I hovered up to the roof, which was high enough that I could just about see above all the other buildings in the area. I looked out over the horizon, to see if anything stood out as an obvious sign that there was an Academy nearby, but didn't really see anything note-worthy.

Then, I looked down to the ground, far below. I could see a small puddle/pond of water, positioned just beneath me, and remembered that these were told (in a previous dream) to be portals. Leaning forward from the rooftop, I dropped off of the ledge, and fell toward the tiny pond. During the fall, I turned myself around so that I was falling backward. Anticipating on hitting the water, I was surprised when I actually fell into what seemed more like a rabbit hole than a water hole. I was still in free-fall; dropping like a stone into the narrow tunnel, to the point where I could feel my stomach begin to turn.

A little uneasy with the unexpectedness of falling backward into this empty hole, I turned back around to fall chest-first. Suddenly, I found that I wasn't falling through a dark pit anymore. Upon the simple act of my turning over, the pit had completely disappeared, and I was now free-falling through the sky, as if I had just been thrown out of an airplane. It was now daytime. Below me, all I could see was blue ocean, for countless miles in every direction, and I was falling toward it fast. A single stretch of island came into view. Even from the aerial view I had, I could tell that it was the Academy! It almost looked like a castle, and the grounds took up the tiny patch of land, leaving really nothing beyond the paved walkways that stretched right out to the docks and into the ocean.

The closer I got to the water, though, the more I could see that there was some sort of chaos going on. Boats became visible in the waters blow, and jets buzzed in the air around me. I had forgotten all about trying to fly, and just continued my free-fall, which ended up dropping me out into the open water, maybe a couple miles from the docks. After splashing down in the ocean, I lifted my head above the surface and took a look around. I had apparently fallen directly into an aquatic war zone. What - from above - just looked like a fray of vehicles scurrying around the air and sea, turned out to be a full-on battle. (This was reminiscent of the last time I went searching for the Academy, and saw that the area was occupied by two opposing military forces. It seems my subconscious decided to throw them back in the mix.) Speed boats with machine guns were battling jets. Scuba divers were waging attacks on the boats. The water - which looked pretty placid, from the air - was now turbulent with the mayhem that was going on around me.

I didn't want to deal with this, though. I just wanted to get to the damn Academy. Deciding not to waste any time with this battle, I levitated myself out of the water and bolted toward the shore, flying over the water like a missile and dodging all of the combatants in my way - just trying my damndest to finally get a chance to explore the actual academy, itself.

Unfortunately, I woke up just before reaching dry land.
